Harperocallis flava, Harper's Beauty - NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF FLORIDA
11 in stock
Harperocallis flava, a member of the Tofieldiaceae family, only occurs in a few populations in the Apalachicola region of the Florida Panhandle, where it is becoming scarcer, primarily due to fire suppression. Harper's Beauty forms tight 5" tall tufts of narrow, upright, grass-like foliage, topped in April and May with 18" tall stalks, ending in small, bright yellow, 6-petalled, star-shaped flowers. Pretty easy to grow. My plants came from cultivated stock originally from a commercial grower.
Federally listed so absolutely no shipping out of Florida. This is due to regulations designed to keep endangered plants rare.
These are divisions from one pot (likely the same clone) and growing well. As such I will limit quantities to two per customer for the time being.
