- Description
- It is a perennial bunchgrass. Through much of the year it is non-descript but in late summer/fall it produces dramatic flower spikes. They are dramatic when lit by the sun. The entire inflorescence occurs on one side of the rachis, hence the common descriptor “lopsided.”
Yearly cleanup is usually required in a garden setting.
